PREPARING FOR YOUR INTERVIEW
We spend plenty of time with our candidates preparing for their interview. As part of this preparation, we ask that our candidates do the following:
- RESEARCH THE COMPANY AND PRODUCT. Ensure that you know about the company, including: the mission, current news, product pipeline and background. For the product(s) you will be selling, know the call points, product indication, reimbursement, dose and delivery (if applicable).
- RESEARCH THE THERAPEUTIC AREA. Do your research and be sure that you understand the disease state(s), patient profiles and patient concerns.
- KNOW THE COMPETITORS. You should know the same information about the competitive product as you do the one(s) that you aim to sell.
- UNDERSTAND THE POSITION DESCRIPTION. Be prepared to articulate how your experience aligns with the key characteristics and skills for the role.
- "TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF". Be prepared to concisely walk through your background, highlighting how your experience is relevant to the role.
- COME PREPARED WITH THOUGHTFUL QUESTIONS. Use your questions as an opportunity to demonstrate that you are engaged and excited about the opportunity, and you have done your research.
- FOLLOW UP WITH A THANK YOU. Always follow up immediately with a brief thank you note. This note should both thank the interviewer(s) for their time as well as provide a chance for you to highlight why you are a great fit for this position after learning more about the opportunity.
